Director – Julie Muffler
Director Julie Muffler’s educational career began as a classroom teacher. Having received her BA in Education from Christopher Newport College of the College of William and Mary, she continued her graduate work at Purdue University and Indiana University earning a MS in Education.
Her 16 years of experience teaching includes all grades K through 8. She has opened four Challenger Learning Centers: one in Indiana, two in California, and one in Ohio. Most recently she served as Deputy Director for NASA’s Aerospace Education Services Project managed by Penn State University.
Among her honors are: NASA Honors Teacher Award, Indiana Aerospace Education Teacher of the Year, Vision Athena Grant Award for Distance Education, and Challenger Center International Faculty selection. |
